Rabbit Awareness Week 2016

This year Rabbit Awareness Week is taking place between 18th-26th June 2016, and they are turning their attention to companionship for rabbits.

Their campaign #BuddiesForBunnies will be both online and offline with a theme that is encouraging owners of single rabbits to adopt a companion from a rescue centre. As well as taking advantage of free health checks offered at vets across the country.

There will also be hundreds of fun and educational events at participating retailers and rescue centres.  Finding an event local to you couldn’t be easier, follow this link and simply enter your postcode to find out what offers await you and your bunnies.

Their website has lots of great and easy to follow information, giving you all the guidance you need to make sure you met your rabbit’s welfare needs.

Rabbit Awareness Weeks’s message is simple, “Together we aim to improve the lives of the UK’s rabbits and stop them getting a RAW deal!” at Binky About we couldn’t agree more.
