Name: Lavender aka Lavandula
Appearance:The lavender flower grows between 1 and 3 foot high. It has a long green stem with a cluster of flowers at the top. The flowers are often thought as being purple; however, wild lavender can be blue, violet, lilac, blackish purple or yellow.
Most of the leaves are covered in fine hairs; these normally contain the essential oils.
Storage: Lavender can be eaten by your rabbits either fresh or dried.
Additional Information: Lavender is thought to contain many healing properties, the most well known being its calming effect.
Lavender is also thought to have anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties.
