Buddleja aka buddleia, butterfly bush
This plant can grow up to 5 meters in height, it grows on a long stem, with green oval shaped leaves sprouting out. When the plant flowers purple or pink small flowers appear in oval like clusters at the top of the plant.
Best time to forage:
Rabbits will eat the leaves of the plant when they are young and again in autumn.
Can be eaten fresh, or dried without the flowers.
This plant is very attractive to both bees and butterflies due to the sweet smell of the flowers.
